  • We enjoyed a lovely anniversary meal yesterday and I can’t fault one bit of the experience we had. We were greeted with such warmth and shown to our table which had a lovely anniversary card which was signed from all the staff there. It was such a wonderful touch and really appreciated. The food was absolutely amazing and everything was so tasty and a culinary experience. We were given alot of special treats in between meals also which was a total surprise and can't thank you all enough. We weren't drinking (trying to be good) but they had such an array of wines which we will definitely try when we come back. We did have a few non alcohol cocktails which were very nice and tasted like we were drinking ;) Food is all reasonably priced and we felt satisfied with the portion sizes and definitely felt full up after. Would highly recommend the Jacobs Ladder which was so mouthwatering delicious. After our meal, our lovely waitress gave us a tour of the building and showed us all the wines and the kitchen and outside. It was such a wonderful dining experience and one of the best we've been too. Nothing was too much for them and the staff is such a credit to them. I'm looking forward to coming back and also letting all our friends and family know of this wonderful establishment.

  • I’ve been to The Greyhound a good few times over the years - upstairs, downstairs, out on the decking in the sunshine - with parents, in-laws and friends. Every single visit has been exceptional - the team genuinely deserves a Michelin star. The food is consistently incredible - inventive, seasonal and full of personality. The wine list clearly written by someone who knows their stuff and there’s always someone on hand who can make spot-on recommendations. I’ve tried both the tasting menu with matched wines and the à la carte, and I honestly can’t fault a single dish or pairing. It’s a gem of a restaurant, and an easy trip from London with the quick train from Marylebone. If you haven’t been yet, go - it’s a fantastic spot that never disappoints.

  • Wow! We came here last night for my birthday celebrations. The staff are incredible. We were greeted by Paris who was friendly and welcoming. We were seated upstairs which was lovely, our servers were Alzira, who is so smiley and really fun, Zuzanna who is informative, has great sense of humour and kept the champagne coming! Lauren who is an absolute bundle of joy, she is passionate and her energy is amazing, and last but not least Margriet what a lovely lady, very informative and genuinely seemed interested in talking to us. Now to the food! We both had the tasting menus, I had the vegetarian and my husband had the normal one! We both came out very happy and full! The truffle was incredible, the pastry on the mushroom tart was so good. My husband loved the crab Everything was so tasty and well thought and put together. So well done to all the chefs in the kitchen who we did get to meet. We will definitely be back. This is the nicesmeal smd service we've had for a like time.

  • Excellent tasting menu, beetroot dish and souffle were incredible, worth the drive out from town to visit. Friendly well trained staff, relaxed atmosphere, we weren't hustled from the table and were told to take our time, relax and enjoy. The only thing I'd hope had changed by our next visit (we'll surely come back, I just don't think that there's a better restaurant in the area west of London other than Raymond Blancs), is the odd choice of plastic plants and flowers, I know that gen z are fine with them but I think they're a bit of a mis-step

  • Fabulous five star dinner at The Greyhound. The restaurant sits in a 17th-century former coaching inn, full of charm and character. Wood beams, exposed brickwork and quirky touches, paired with rich decor, create a cosy yet elegant setting. The food was delicious. We chose the à la carte menu and every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. What truly sets The Greyhound apart is the people. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends. Service was thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive, with water glasses topped up and small details handled with care. Daniel, the owner, stopped by after our meal and his passion for both food and genuine hospitality was obvious. We left with full bellies and warm hearts, a night out we’ll remember. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a restaurant that combines artistry on the plate with real warmth of service.

  • Possibly the best dining experience I've had so far! Attended early June for my 30th birthday and to say the evening was perfect is an understatement. From the arrival, personally signed card by all staff members and birthday biscuits (amongst other extras) I couldn't have felt more special to have spent my evening at the Greyhound, a huge thank you to Al and all the other staff who made my partner and myself feel so welcomed, especially with a tour of the kitchen and grounds. (A small snapshot of food in pictures, not all courses)

  • We visited for our anniversary lunch and had the tasting menu. The food was a delight. The staff were attentive without being excessive. A lovely atmosphere. Acoustics were good with gentle background music that didn't interfere with conversation. We will definitely be going back.

  • An Unforgettable Dining Experience! My husband and I are avid foodies who have had the pleasure of dining at some incredible restaurants, but nothing comes close to the exceptional experience we had at The Greyhound. From the moment we walked through the door, the service was nothing short of outstanding. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and as it was my birthday, we were welcomed with a handwritten birthday card from the staff—such a personal touch that made the evening even more special! The staff's attentiveness was truly remarkable. From the seamless flow of courses to ensuring our glasses were always topped up, every aspect of service was executed flawlessly. We were consistently amazed by the level of care and precision. The food itself was extraordinary. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and crafted to absolute perfection. We were also fortunate to be guided around by the owner, Daniel, whose passion for the restaurant was evident in every detail—from the sourcing of ingredients to the meticulous training of his staff. It’s clear that this restaurant is a labor of love! I can’t recommend The Greyhound enough. We’re lucky to be local to Beaconsfield, and we’ll certainly be back very soonb A huge thank you to the entire team for making my birthday celebration so memorable. Wishing you all a happy New Year!
